Traffic Management Plans

In the operation and maintenance of highway networks, it is your responsibility to sign, guard, light and maintain your works safely. Time spent planning these works is necessary to decide on what equipment will be required. This may involve temporary closures, lane restrictions or the use of traffic control in the form of give & take, stop/go boards or portable traffic signals.

With high traffic flow on many roads, it is particularly important to plan all works activities and temporary closures, to optimise safety, road space and work efficiency, whilst minimising road user congestion, delay and inconvenience.

Clandillon Site Services have recently invested in the latest "Cones Traffic Management" software and have submitted many traffic management plans to local authorities for approval in conjunction with road space licences over the few years.
